policy on Keruv-welcoming the non-Jew.
GUIDELINE
FOR SYNAGOGUE DECORUM
1. No one will be permitted enter or leave the sanctuary
while the Ark is open, when the congregation is standing,
or during
the Rabbi’s
sermon.
2. Women should wear a head covering, particularly when
called to the Bima. Please make sure that the head covering covers
the pate of the head.
3. Kipahs should be worn by all Jewish males, before entering the
Sanctuary.Tallitot should be put on in the sanctuary, by all male
congregants and any woman who wishes to do so. Tallitot should
be worn at morning services.
4. NO SMOKING in the synagogue or its grounds on Shabbat or Yom
Tov. Smokers are especially requested not to smoke at the entrance
to the building or in the parking lots.
5. Please note the dress code: Everyone should be dressed in a manner
befitting the place and the occasion. Use common sense in your choice
of clothing - be respectful . (i.e. jackets and ties)
6. Please refrain from using cell phones and beepers in the synagogue
or on the grounds during services on holidays or on Shabbat.
